To find and fix any problems with aircraft and its parts, AMEs carry out normal inspections and maintenance operations. The design, development, and testing of the systems and components for airplanes and spacecraft are the main areas of interest in aerospace engineering. A variety of aerospace projects, including passenger and combat planes, satellites, and rockets, are worked on in collaboration with aerospace experts. A branch of aerospace engineering called aeronautical engineering focuses on particularly designing and building aircraft. Engineers in the field of aeronautics may work on projects like creating new materials for airplanes or improving aerodynamic performance.
